Admission
Homeopathic training can be an arduous inner and outer journey. The ideal
SSH applicant will possess a high degree of initiative; determination; an open,
inquiring mind; emotional resilience; respect for the privacy and viewpoints
of others; and a willingness to engage in regular self-reflection. Being an
SSH student entails a substantial personal and financial commitment. We therefore
encourage you to “interview” us, just as we may opt to interview you, to make
sure our program is the right match for you. We welcome diverse backgrounds
among our students, knowing that diversity enriches the learning experience
for all. The Seattle School of Homeopathy does not discriminate on the basis
of race, creed, nationality, gender, disability or sexual orientation.
Minimum Admission Requirements:
- High school diploma, and minimum of two years of college education, or equivalent. (Exceptions will be considered by the Director on an individual basis).
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
- Personal commitment and motivation to actively participate in the program: successful attainment of program objectives requires attendance at a minimum of 80% of classes, passing grades on major projects and exams (or retakes), and the ability to study approximately 8-15 hours per week at home.
- Comprehensive Program students who are unlicensed will be required to complete a Red Cross CPR and Advanced First Aid course in their communities prior to graduation.
- All SSH Comprehensive Program students are expected to become members of the National Center for Homeopathy.
- Access to a computer that has high speed internet , as well as a recent MSWord program, is essential, since all class materials and assignments are posted regularly to a class Yahoo group.
The Application Process:
An application form, fee schedule, payment information form, and confidentiality / ethics agreement, are available to download in pdf format. The following must be received by no later than one week prior to first class to be considered for admission.

- $100 deposit by check or credit card, along with payment information form.
You will be notified of your acceptance as soon as we have received and reviewed your application materials. Please be aware that space in the program is limited, and that applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.
I must admit that homeopathy has never let me down. Homeopathy is
a life-long study, it requires the burning of the midnight oil, but it is
worthwhile.
